Woah, what can I say? I’ve always wanted my own game, with my own vision. It’s now a reality.
Something that I would like, and enjoy, and crave more of.
Something that respects my time, does not beat around the bush, and gets to the goddamn POINT! I don’t like filler dialogue, I don’t like meaningless chatter, choices that either lead nowhere or make no difference. I don’t like lots of things, and I saw no point including what I don’t like in my own game.
Now I could delve into this or that aspect, but I’d rather you experience it for the first time on your own.
However, I’ll still briefly(?) explain certain things:
Music / SFX has been heavily utilized to create an immersive atmosphere. I used to be a “Mute All” kinda guy myself, but I’d recommend giving the sounds/music in this game a chance. Most of what you hear has been tweaked to sound like it belongs (tweaked to match the environment spatially). NSFW sounds (voices) are all inside the Voice Channel. You can lower only that if you want to avoid any weirdness, but even that has been by default lowered to below 100%. (69% to be precise)
Story and Dialogue generally “get to the point”, without need for irrelevant info or chit-chat. The only exception to that is when it’s humor, or supposed to be anyway. Most of what I find funny is tied to references not everybody knows, but hey! if you do, you do!Now the story, and the way it’s told, is a bit vague, which is not something I’d necessarily intended, but it is what it is: Allan experiencing things. Now to me it all makes sense, obviously. To you it might not, and frankly, neither to Allan! Also only one of the current 3 endings is canon, but you can interpret things however you like, and that too is canon (with you, at least).
You can share your opinions on the communities, discuss the game’s world, etc. if you want to.
CHOICES (Also: SFW, OR NSFW?)
This game, and later ones, despite featuring adult content, will always feature a fullly SFW route. You don’t HAVE to do anything. And if you decide not to do a person, you haven’t “skipped” the scene. It has NOT happened. Your choices are not always binary either, though they often are, but not always! You can explicate intent, for example. I remember sometimes I’d click on “No” as an option in a game, see the protagonist get pissed off, or angry, in rejecting a person, and think to myself: What the hell? Now Allan in general acts in a manner that is not too binding, that is, it may be interpreted as nonchalance, or anger, or something else entirely. So if you do reject something, it does not necessarily mean you hate it, and if you say yes to something, it does not mean you’re euphoric to have it.Allan does not engage in histrionics, whatever his other flaws might be.What’s next?
Uh, next chapters? But first, Interludes. All chapters will have their own interludes, which are shorter than chapters, and serve to complement or conclude a side character’s story or explain an aspect of the world that needs explaining. The first chapter is to have 3 Interludes, explaining and bringing an end to certain characters that are perhaps too much of a mystery yet, or world details purposefully hid.There are also non-canon comic strips (the FUCK THAT’S HOT! monthly issue) I’ll share on the platforms, which explore mainly the side characters’ daily lives, events not tied to Allan’s adventures, etc.If all goes well, also, I’m hoping to add voice acting at some point. If you’re interested, and well, voice act, let me know.
