I’ve reached the point where I’ve achieved what I set out to do: create my “first game,” learn the basics of Ren’Py, and experiment with different AI generation tools and models. I’ve left some extra content in the images folder for anyone curious about where the project was heading. Eventually, I realised I’d done enough for now and wasn’t satisfied with the slightly “janky” feel of the game. It was a valuable test of using realistic video assets, and I’ve learned a lot for future projects. I suspect I’ll lean more toward cartoon or anime styles next time, since they create a smoother and easier‑to‑manage workflow.
The project itself is really a collection of ideas and concepts hammered into the rough shape of a game. The main focus was the “speaking” videos and the conversation interface. Becky is the only character with a full set of spoken responses; the others rely mostly on text. All characters have voiced introductions except Winter and the latter half of Chloe—by that point I’d already decided not to invest more time into polishing something that didn’t feel up to the standard I wanted.
The interface should be fairly intuitive. The main way to interact with the characters is through the mini portrait in the top‑right corner. The bottom and middle sections trigger “daydream”‑style videos of the MC imagining what the characters might be wearing. In a full game, this would be expanded much further.
The “head” section of the menu opens a text prompt where the player can talk about different topics with the character. I haven’t really seen this done in Ren’Py games, though it was common in older interactive fiction. It won’t appeal to everyone, but I like the way it adds depth to the characters. I’d genuinely appreciate feedback on this system. The list of prompts is included below—some keywords trigger the same response (for example, “breasts” and “cleavage”). All characters respond to all prompts except g-spot and dog which are Becky only (nod to SD3)
Any constructive feedback is welcome. I know the project is a bit clunky in places, but the real value here is in the ideas and concepts I explored. Any game breaking bugs let me know, dont try to skip it all fast as that creates issues of skipping scenes which i not figured out how to prevent yet (let me know if you know!?)
