This game is very dark souls like a platformer. Art and animations are great I like the style they used for it. The music and atmosphere are all right. Story kind of missed me, I tried to catch something, but mostly is just kill this and kill that. But each location is unique and has some fitting color palette. Nice light green forest. Caramel like the desert or shady underground.
Combat is what this game shines the best. You have three different weapons Spear, Katana, and magic orb cannon. And every single one has its skill tree. Every single loot in the game is random based on the level and area you are in, so you will be able to get lucky and make some part of the game easier. Stats can be reset at any given time so your strategy can change. As you can go full hp, dmg, crit, etc. Every item based on its level and rarity will give you many stats too. So when you spend all your points at HP and now you get for example spear that gives you HP, but you lack dmg now you can just reset stats and swap it in order what you will get. Just last area for me was kind of boring, you have all items and skills that you need. You just want to smash final boss of the game, but there are legions of enemies, that dong give you better loot, and you don’t need to farm all those enemies because if you get in the last area, you will have enough of everything to take on the last boss, but still, they want to annoy you by a massive horde of enemies in each room and a little mistake can cost you your life and all progress you make through the last area, so I highly suggest you to just run through the last area, so you can enjoy nicely done final boss fight.
