Alien Core (v0.0.1b) by Core-Ruption Studios

Alien Core is a 2D Stealth-Focused game with Impregnation and (not currently but planned) corruption as it's main focus. The game will work similarly to a metroidvania, where you go from zone to zone, unlocking areas as you progress.
Story:
The player character was just taking a break under a big tree when a bright light spread across the sky. When they come to, they find that they are the only one left with their mind intact, everything else became brainless drones that only look to procreate. Will the MC be able to figure out what happened? Or will they be corrupted along the way?​

As this is my first project, I am more then happy to hear any feedback. The artstyle of the game is what I worry the most about, and is why I always intended to have AI character portraits as I felt it could not work on it's own. That said, let me know what you think. I am already looking into ways of possibly improving it.
NOTE: Make sure you play the tutorial first, there is no instructions in the actual gameplay
