Meet John Smith, a retired special operations soldier, who wants nothing more than to live out his life in peace and harmony, with nothing more exciting than the a few beers while watching the game on Sunday afternoon.
Following a strange, surrealistic dream, he will find his entire life turned upside down as lines are crossed and boundaries redrawn. Only one thing is certain, his life will never be the same.

What is Genesis of Androcracy is about?
Well first and foremost, it’s my first attempt at an adult visual novel. As such, while I have many ideas semi-story boarded already, the ultimate direction the story will take is still very much to be determined. I’m doing a lot of experimentation as I learn programming in Ren’Py, Image manipulation, and writing a story that is presented via images coupled with primarily dialogue that will be compelling to the reader. (Thus far, I’m finding it very surprising it is for me to write in this manner versus a descriptive story without images and far more descriptive writing.)
As for “John Smith”, the main character (or whatever you choose to name him), he’s either a family man with a wife and 3 kids, or a landlord with a wife, 2 tenants and a protégé (it’s your choice which way to play it, though I recommend the family relationships). Following a very intense, surrealistic dream, a portion of his psyche that has long been walled away makes its way back into his consciousness. This ‘darkness’ within will tempt our hero to move along a path of perversion and debauchery of all sorts. That said, the choices are yours (and the other characters in the game’s – i.e., you will have to develop the relationships in an appropriate manner for them to be willing to engage in all activities) – you can continue along in a, more-or-less, normal life with your wife being your only sexual partner, or you can live a life of perversion (and convince her to come along with you). Hell, you’ll probably even be able to get rid of the “ol’ ball-and-chain” relatively early in the game and trade her in for a much younger (or perhaps older) model! Though that particular story arc isn’t certain yet.
Regardless, there will be at least attributes (Attraction, Love, Corruption and Perversion) that will impact just what your relationship with the others in the gad that includes checks against both your own, and the other characters’ attributes. E.g., if your perversion is maxed, but your wife’s is sitting at 0, you may be all about some heavy BDSM, but she’ll not be willing, and may just lose some of her attraction and love points if you request such activities, you disgusting pervert!).
Anyway, like I said, this is my first attempt, so please be gentle on me, and do not hesitate to share advice or suggestions if you have any!
