Inquisitor Trainer 2: Mortis Invicta (v0.1) by Adeptus Celeng

Description
You play as Greg, an Inquisitor in the grim darkness of the 41st millennium who has completely lost his memories. Yeah, right. Male protagonist this time, guys. The one you've been asking for since the first Inquisitor Trainer.
And as you can probably guess, Greg's morality is... questionable. Puritan or heretic? Depends on how you look at it.
As you investigate a mysterious Imperial vessel drifting through space, you'll meet all sorts of crew members and slowly uncover the secrets hidden aboard the ship.

As you investigate a mysterious Imperial vessel drifting through space, you'll meet all sorts of crew members and slowly uncover the secrets hidden aboard the ship.
You'll be accompanied by two beautiful crew members, each with their own personalities, secrets, and baggage. Get close to them, earn their trust, and maybe even find romance along the way.
I've also hidden a lot of collectibles throughout the game. Some contain lewd artwork, some contain short stories, some contain 41st millennium's gossip, and some are just there because I thought they were funny.
Because let's be honest... even in the grim darkness of the 41st millennium, people still enjoy looking at lewd pictures, reading juicy gossip, and wasting time on random stories. Especially when you've been stuck floating through space with the same crew for years.
So click around, explore everything, and see what you can find.

Developer Notes:
Guys, I want to share a new demo for Inquisitor Trainer 2…
This game is going to have a lot of changes compared to the first one. Think of it as me taking the things I wasn't very good at before and turning them into my main strengths.
1. Game design... a huge improvement, if you ask me.
Since I’m a solo dev, it was honestly a mistake trying to make such a massive project before. If I focus on making something simpler, I think the experience will actually hit harder.
So this time, I’m giving you 4 action buttons that you’ll use to explore the world. Basically, if you want to interact with anything, all you really need are the actions: Look, Talk, Use, and Move.
I think those four actions cover pretty much everything. So I’m making them the core action buttons throughout the whole game.
Keeping things simple like this also helps me minimize bugs (seriously, that was a huge problem in the first Inquisitor Trainer).
2. I’m going to focus heavily on art and story.
Going back to the true core of a visual novel.
I started as an artist who fell in love with the 40k universe, and I want to return to that. I want to stop making overly complicated game mechanics because that’s not really my expertise, and honestly, it feels like a waste to make mechanic-heavy games in Ren’Py. Right? I might as well use Unity for more advanced gameplay systems.
And honestly, I’m not a huge fan of minigames in Ren’Py games. When I play a Ren’Py game, I want it to feel like reading a comic book or a novel, and I want to explore more extreme scenarios through the story. Not be "forced" to play Tetris or Pinball just to progress.
But well, that’s just me. It’s a matter of taste, and not everyone feels the same way.
I'm still trying to learn how to make games with more complex gameplay mechanics in a separate project. Since it's a beat 'em up/brawler game, it gives me a good place to experiment with that kind of stuff.
You can check it out here:
Give it a try too if you have some free time.
3. I’ve prepared a lot of collectible items scattered throughout the game.
They’ll contain lewd 40k artwork, short stories (sometimes funny, sometimes alternate versions of established 40k lore), or collections of my short comics.
I’m even thinking about giving shout-outs to beginner artists who are also 40k fans in the collectibles menu.
Hopefully, we can grow this 40k fan community together. The more, the merrier.
May the Emperor protect!!!
4. Male protagonist this time, guys...
What can I say? That’s what many of you have been waiting for since the first game.
I’m using Greg as the protagonist.
But I’ll still include lesbian romance and futa romance in the game as well. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to separate those two niches from my games because those communities supported me from the very beginning of this Patreon, more than five years ago, back when I was at my lowest.
Thanks to the lesbian and futa communities!!!
Love you guys a lot! ❤
5. I want to explore more fetishes that I’m curious about.
Mostly through short side stories or quests.
It might even become its own dedicated route if enough people are interested.
Join my Discord so we can talk about that world. What’s your fetish, and why do you like it?
I want to try to understand your perspective.
That’s all for now.
I’ll update you guys again as I develop more of the game. I hope this community can come alive again.
