Nightmares of the Moon is a dark, story-driven Adult Visual Novel blending RPG-style stat management with free-roam gameplay.
You follow Luna, a young woman who arrives in Sitria — the so-called "City of Dreams" — hoping to rebuild her life after the unexplained loss of most of her memories. Enrolled in the University of Sitria as a journalism student, she is drawn into a web of relationships, secrets, and buried truths.

The free-roam gameplay allows you to explore the city of Sitria at your own pace. Take on part-time jobs to earn money, attend your classes, and nurture your relationships. Spend your time engaging in various activities — from nights at the club to relaxing spa visits or going for a jog — each choice offering dedicated events.
- SIDE CHARACTERS -

Meet a diverse cast of side characters — whether they are deeply tied to the main storyline or exist on the fringes of Sitria’s daily life. Each of them has a distinct personality, their own motivations, and a reason to be in the "City of Dreams."
Among them, 3 will have a dedicated character storyline and a relationship system. Depending on the choices you make concerning them, it might shape the future of your playthrough.

Eroticism in the game is deeply rooted in themes of corruption and immorality. Luna begins her journey as a pure-hearted and rather shy young woman. Yet, for reasons she cannot fully understand, a strange force slowly gnaws at her mind — dragging buried memories back to the surface and exposing her to the twisted nature of humanity.
As these memories resurface, Luna develops a growing sense of unease and suppressed desire. This unresolved tension can evolve into dangerous sexual frustration, gradually pushing her toward corruption if left unchecked.

- The Original Soundtrack -

The entire OST of Nightmares of the Moon is composed by myself with a lot of care and love (Certified 0% AI!). Even before I started working on this game, I had always dreamed of becoming a video game composer.
As a huge fan of soundtracks such as the NieR series, FromSoftware games, Hollow Knight, and Ori and the Will of the Wisps, I've always had a soft spot for emotional and epic orchestral/classical music.
With Nightmares of the Moon, I want to convey as much emotion as possible through the soundtrack. My goal is mainly to blend orchestral music with blues and jazz influences for the urban environments, while leaning into synth-driven and epic sounds for the nightmares, supernatural elements, and darker horror aspects of the game.
