Some people know me as a scammer, though, and that's simply not true. Some call me a bad developer, and I won't argue with that either. Before I introduce myself properly, though, I want to tell you the history of this project and explain why I'm making this thread. It all started with Adventurous Monster Breeder. At one point, the game was actually coming together. Some of you probably remember the last good builds, when we had the open world, drivable cars, and you could even play as a Palico. It wasn't perfect, but it had potential. Then Patreon warned me that the game contained content that wasn't considered family-friendly, if you know what I mean. I tried adapting. I removed the problematic content from the Patreon version, renamed it Settlers of Ceinov, and continued developing both the original game and this alternate version.Unfortunately, things only got worse. I received more platform bans, especially on FANBOX. I became heavily demotivated, and a project that was already struggling slowly started falling apart. Around the same time, I became seriously ill and had to spend a long time focusing on my health instead of development.Looking back, I won't make excuses. The game became an abandoned mess. Updates came every four or five months and barely added anything meaningful. That was completely my fault. I was in one of the hardest periods of my life. The only positive thing is that the money I earned from the game allowed me to pay for proper medical treatment. Without it, I honestly don't know where I'd be today.Eventually I realized the project had drifted so far away from its original concept that even the name no longer made sense. It started as a medieval fantasy monster breeder, but over time I had added futuristic demon outfits, modern weapons, and all kinds of things that simply didn't fit anymore. That's when I renamed it to Breedspawn. At that point I was still on Patreon, and while things were still rough, the rebrand gave me motivation again. For the first time in a long while I actually started seriously working on the game. I implemented a persistent world, experimented with combat, and started building real gameplay systems. It was still an unpolished work-in-progress full of rough edges, but at least it was moving forward again. Then came the beginning of 2025.The game still had a terrible reputation, and honestly, I understood why. There was a lot of criticism directed at both me and the project, and much of it was deserved. But throughout 2025 I worked harder than I ever had before. Combat improved, important gameplay systems were added, and for the first time the game actually started showing real promise. Then, around August 2025, Patreon permanently banned Breedspawn because of its content.I panicked.Since I depended on Patreon for income, I quickly started another project called Uncharted Desires. It was a completely different game, and Patreon accepted it. I won't pretend I was making huge amounts of money, but I had loyal supporters, and every dollar mattered. Even earning around a hundred dollars made the difference between paying my bills or not eating properly. Then December arrived. When Patreon originally banned Breedspawn, they had told me I could return after three months. So I created a brand-new page, this time with none of the problematic content.Three or four days later, just before the holidays, Patreon banned both the new Breedspawn page and the Uncharted Desires page. That completely destroyed me.Making games is already incredibly difficult. Trying to build projects of this scale as a solo developer takes years. I had been counting on that income, and suddenly it was gone. The only reason I didn't spend Christmas completely broke was because a few followers donated directly to me. I'll always be grateful for that. After that, I decided I was done depending on Patreon. At the beginning of 2026, instead of starting another project, I built my own website and my own distribution platform. I made a promise to myself that I would stop making excuses, stop chasing shortcuts, and finally prove that I could actually deliver a game. That's where we are today.Breedspawn is no longer the same project it used to be. It's still in alpha. There are still plenty of bugs. It's still janky. There's still a mountain of work ahead. But it's also better than anything I've made before. For the first time in years, I'm actually confident enough to show it to people. That's why I'm making this thread. This isn't the same game that people remember from years ago, and it isn't the same developer either.I'm not a scammer. I'm just a guy from a third-world country who went through depression, health problems, financial struggles, and years of platform bans while trying to make games that were honestly too ambitious for someone in my position.None of that excuses the mistakes I made. People waited too long for updates, and I completely understand why many lost trust in me.All I can do now is keep working.I want to earn that trust back, one update at a time.I won't give up until I finally make a game I'm genuinely proud of.And one last thing: if some of the dates are slightly off, I apologize. It's been a long few years, many of the old pages no longer exist, and it's surprisingly difficult to remember the exact timeline of everything that happened.
