Description:
Tainted Philter is a visual novel game with corruption being the main theme.
You begin as a shy guy with self-confidence problems that moves to a city he doesn't know because he finds a place to live for free that will help him survive his financial problems due to have been left alone with no family or friends to go to.
In your first day of school in this new place you receive an offer that seems too good to be true. An encounter with an otherworldly woman who shows you that magic is a real thing and tasks you with a quest about corruption to help with her research. To aid you in this task she gives you access to a large variety of potions with various magical effects and she also offers you to improve your current personality that is not fit for the job. After receiving these gifts from her, you eventually finds out that you got some extra perks that she doesn't know about and decide to keep them a secret from her just in case.
Follow the story as you find creative ways to achieve this mysterious woman's task.

Hello everyone! This game's first version is really an introduction to the game. There is not much content besides a few animated scenes. I wanted to introduce the initial characters that made it into the game and for people to have a gist of the direction of the game to get reactions, that way I can get motivated to spend more of my spare time into making more content if people are interested (if not, I'm still going to keep making content, this is kind of a passion project to me). There is a lot of content genre planned for the future. What I'm looking for? I'm looking to make a 'fantastical' type of game, going slowly away from vanilla stuff. I want to make stuff that's difficult or even impossible to find in real life, put characters into weird and improbable situations, make characters with exaggerated personalities/bodies, etc. I hope you have fun and enjoy playing the game as it evolves.
