Throne Beneath (v0.31) by Darkness Inside

Summoned into a forgotten underground sanctuary, Maou discovers that he carries the soul of a fallen Demon King. With Ivia at his side, he begins rebuilding a ruined dungeon, gathering companions and confronting the powers that control the world above.
Throne Beneath combines an anime-style visual novel with dungeon management and side-scrolling action combat. Build and develop your base, recruit heroes, strengthen your defenses and lead a party into Conquest. Between battles, get to know your companions through character lore, relationships and character stories.​

1. Extract the entire archive to a folder of your choice.
2. Run ThroneBeneathDemo.exe. Keep ThroneBeneathDemo.pck beside it.
3. Choose New Game to begin, or Continue / Load Game to resume a save.
Conquest controls:
WASD: Move
Left Mouse / J: Attack
Space: Backward Dodge
Right Mouse: Special Skill
Hold E near a downed companion: Revive
Esc: Pause

- First Public build.
- Packaged the latest installed bug fixes and sprite animation improvements.
- Smoothed transitions between Assault waves.
- Replaced Maou's backflip dodge with a short backward hop. Dodging grants 1 second of damage immunity and has an 8-second cooldown; new poses are included for the playable heroes.
Current demo content:
- Five Chapter 1 Conquest missions, with Assault, Rescue, Defend, Escort and Boss objectives.
- Thirteen Main Story episodes, plus available lore and character content.
- Base building, resource production and storage, research, hero progression and base defense.
- Main / Sub hero party selection and Normal, Hard and Challenge difficulties.

Recruitment and playable content unlock through gameplay. Reading the story is optional and does not block hero recruitment or Conquest progression.
Artwork and some animation assets use AI-assisted production tools. Balance, presentation and content are still being developed.

I'm currently working with Chapter 2, plan to contain:
- 3-4 more companions.
- Expand Conquest to have bigger scale as battle ground using Army fight along with hero.
- Dynamic Gameplay that you can have Bad End when fail to save the Queen.
- Player choice will affect new female Companion appearance (with fetish).
- More room type, more research and balance, Skill tree to level 20 with different path and effect user much choose (can reset ofc).
