Wasteland Explorer (v0.1) by Kaprikorn

Lead expeditions out of the Sanctuary and map the wasteland, one night at a time.
Wasteland Explorer is a free push-your-luck survival roguelite. Every night you draw events from your own bag: trails carry you further and fill caches with food, water and materials, hazards hurt. Draw again, or head back to camp with what you found? Stay out too long and the night ends you. Head home too early and your supplies run dry.
Between expeditions, the survivors you meet join the Sanctuary. Collect their shards, rank them up and send every new expedition out a little stronger, until the whole wasteland is on the map.​

Push your luck every night: draw from a bag you build yourself, and decide after every card whether to go one step further or head home with the loot.
Roguelite progress between expeditions: survivors you find join the Sanctuary, and their shards rank them up for good, so every expedition starts a little stronger. Shards are never lost, whatever happens.

Windows
1. Extract the zip to any folder.
2. Run WastelandExplorer.exe.
Your progress is saved in your user profile and survives updates.
Android
1. Copy the APK to your phone (or download it there).
2. Open it and allow installing from unknown sources when asked.
3. To update, install the new APK over the old one; progress is kept.

- 10 areas on the expedition map.
- 24 survivors to recruit and rank up in the Sanctuary
- 3 basic trails and 11 special trails to buy in the trail shop
- 10 hazards, each with its own effect (damage, ending the night, stealing loot, multiplying, infection)
- 11 hardships and 10 boons: every survey threshold brings a hardship and a 1-of-3 boon draft
- 14 camp upgrades: 8 buildings and 6 crafts
- 17 milestones and 15 lifetime achievements with 5 tiers each, all paying dust
- 4 Sanctuary buildings and 5 challenges for the late game
- Expedition history with night-by-night charts and lifetime stats
- Expeditions are saved when you close the game
- Keyboard shortcuts on Windows; Android supported

About six years ago I tried to make a game here on F95Zone and didn't finish it, so this time I waited until I had a complete game to show before posting again.
My biggest influences are the board game and .
I noticed I suck at thinking of erotic/sexual conversations, so if you'd like to offer your help for that, feel free to contribute and maybe we can remove the no sexual content tag from this thread.
I'd love to hear how it plays:
- Does the difficulty feel fair? Where did your expeditions end, and why?
- Is the push-your-luck decision interesting, or does one strategy always win?
