You had to actually choose to do it in order to find stuff or encounter stuff and I want Lizzy not to have any choice whether or not the events would occur. That is why I made the following changes:1) The town has been divided into three locations which you can visit; The City Center, The Bijlmer and Amsterdam North. Each location has is own areas of interest which you can visit which you will know from the previous version. If for instance you'd visit the city center, you notice that you can go to the park or the local pub. If you go to Amsterdam North however, you will be able to visit the Spa etc etc.2) This means you will always have to travel now in order to get anywhere. Apart from the city center as that is where Lizzy lives. So if you walk out of your door, you will now be in the city center (where most stuff is found).3) You can travel to each city area by bus or by foot. Obviously by bus is the quickest way, but costs a little bit of money.4) Whenever you travel from one part of the city to another by foot, there is a chance to stumble upon an event (Any of the wandering events; All events are still linked to their area, which means you have more chance to get mugged in the Bijlmer and you will only be able to find certain billboards or flyers in the same areas as always). This way it is more 'immersive' and feels less like as if Lizzy is trying to find trouble by pressing 'wander into town' repeatedly.5) Whenever you travel from one part of the city to another by bus, there is a chance to stumble upon a bus-event just like the above.6) All jobs are now located in one of the three parts of the city. So you will actually need to travel towards where you work. All trips have a set amount of time (some events can add a few minutes here or there depending on the event and on choice).- In order to help everyone you will now see a picture appear on the left side of the screen to let you know you need to go to work and at what time you are expected there at the latest (visible for each of the 4 jobs - to be expanded with other stuff like Faoud etc. at a later stage). It will also tell you what the requirements are, so you should be able to arrive at the job being fully eligible to work. On hard setting, this will not be visible. Please let me know if you like it, hate it, or if the icon is too big etc.- The bus has been changed. You can now hop on the bus at any time, as long as you have enough money, or if you have enough money on your buscard. So there is no longer a need to every time buy a ticket and then click again on the busline. Works quite well I believe.- A new item has been added; The buscard. You can buy it from any busstop ticket machine. It will allow you to store money on it at any time (can't withdraw from it!) and the price of each fare will be automatically reduced from the card.- Time, is on our side,We'll have this world, for you and I,Let tomorrow come,We'll take the sun, out of the sky,For you and I.The clock has changed again. From now on actions no longer always take a minimum of 15 minutes. The minimum time that passes per action is now 1 minute! Over time (pun intended) I will adjust all events and the time they take (Wandering has been adjusted with this version and the mall as well). If you like to see the time-cost in certain areas changed, let me know- All toilets have been revamped. You will possibly not see any difference, but they work a lot better now and provide you with an additional option to clean your face and to apply your makeup (if you have any). Several images added to fluff up the view a little, nothing fancy though.- The club is now also accessible on Thursday from 22h onwards.- Changed the wording of the STD curing costs to reflect it is 50 Euro per STD! - ty Hamof- Made it a little clearer where to go when choosing the girlfriend route when encountering Faoud. - ty ecostarr- I've split the Mall into two levels. This way there is an additional transition at the mall making it easier for Faoud and his men to 'find' you, as well as giving me the opportunity to add more stores whilst keeping things tidy.- A suntan salon has opened it's doors at the mall. Lizzy, you should go there to build up your tan or keep it at the maximum level to look as beautiful as you can. Just a tanning service. No smut.- Having a high fitness level (50+) now helps to lower the energy loss and increase the energy gain in most cases.- Using a line of coke now has a lower increase of energy, but all energy gains are slightly increased and all energy losses slightly reduced.- When engaging in any 'work' during a bus ride, it will now check whether or not Lizzy is a virgin and if applicable will offer more options. - ty AlexDark- Lizzy can no longer lose her virginity at the glory holes. This will change in the future when I redo the glory holes altogether. - ty AlexDark- You can now walk around town even if you are very dirty if your dignity is low enough. Mind you though that bus drivers will not let you on the bus, so you will always have to walk. - ty AlexDark- It is now possible to work three days at the pub during summertime in stead of two.- Starting money on 'Hard' and 'Normal' difficulties increased slightly.- The addiction levels have now been capped to lvl 5 max. - ty Maxine_D- Added one more option for the application of Makeup. There are now 4 options; 1) Never use it (simple right?) 2) Use it when applying makeup (You'll only use it when Lizzy actually selects 'Apply Makup' anywhere) 3) Use it when showering (It will get used whenever Lizzy showers) 4) Use it when showering only when you need to work (It will get used after the shower only if Lizzy needs to work). It will track when you lose your virginity, to whom you lose it and under what circumstances and it will also let you know when it happens. Check your Character page for more detailed information. But it does not stop there! In certain cases, it will also provide you with a choice/several choices! Will you be able to let Lizzy make the right choice regarding her virginity? Will she save herself for that special someone, or will she fall into the web of seduction and corruption and lose it without choice? Good luck!- Added one more additional bed to the bed store. It is a standard bed, making it a bit easier to get some small sleeping bonuses at the start of the game.- You now start the game with a pair of standard white panties which you can choose to wear or not wear (when dignity is low enough). Find the toggle in your diary page. Not wearing panties will have an effect on your Dignity, Freedom & Reputation depending on how high/low they are when encountering certain events. It can also have an effect on the choices you get or the outcomes of said events. More will be added in the future. When you lose your panties and your dignity is too high, your Morale may drop over time.- Your Desire stat will rise a little faster when you're not wearing panties. - ty ray3dave- Consequently, if somehow, you've lost your panties and your dignity is not low enough you will feel ashamed and your morale will slowly drop.- The Bibi link will now disappear after you've talked to her and chosen to make her tell you about her and Henry.- Changed the way the changing rooms worked at the spa. It is now a proper transition; meaning you will need to change clothes before you e.g. go to the pool and when you want to leave the pool again. Previously you only needed to change clothes when entering the pool. Due to this change in transitioning, Faoud and his men now have more opportunities to harass you when you go change clothes. Additionally, they now may harass you in the gym when doing your cardio or self-defense workout (similar scenario as in the coffee shop).- The chance of meeting Faoud and his men will increase over time. This was already the case, but I've increased it as I believe it was not happening enough.- Changed the check for running or doing Yoga in the park at the link, rather than at the actual passage. This means that if you don't meet the perquisites (energy or health or morale) you won’t be able to click on the link. In order to correct this, I had to move the Donny beach/pool encounter invitation from Donny to Monday (was Sunday). Cleaned up the Studio passage which checked the requirements and changed the links from Sunday to Monday. Sorry folks!- Fixed the payment bug created in V0.8.2. Sorry again(No idea why the change from the number 3.5 to 3.4 in the formula removes the number of Euros. But so be it... found the real culprit at a later stage. Had nothing to do with the change in that number) After a few days of testing the bug appeared again and only saving the game and reloading cleared it but had to be done every day. I was unable to pinpoint the reason for this weird bug, so in the end I rewrote to Payment passage. It did not screw up any of my save games. Hopefully it will not screw up yours neither. Payments have gone up a little. I'm sure most of you will be happy with that. If you do find certain payments still to be too low, or perhaps now way too high please let me know. I'm unable to test all payments of all jobs in all different settings, unless I spent like a month or so testing lol.- Corrected a lot of typos & the like - Big thanks to newport_georgeg for taking the time to type up all the typos and the like!!- Rewrote first encounter with Raul slightly to make it more clear where to go for dance lessons. - ty newport_georgeg- When you've exhausted all jobs available, you no longer can select 'look for a job' from the home menu. - ty newport_georgeg- Fixed a bug in the phone menu not showing the dialogue after choosing an option when calling someone.- Accepting any 'work' on the bus towards the church now no longer results in you ending up home after the 'job'. Had influence on the special Donny encounters at the beach and the pool. - ty Reman- Cleaned up many (way more than I thought there would be) instances of duplicated variables, after fixing the above $Day variable, with different capital useage. Bah there were way too many. Shame on me! Some of them caused no issues at all apart from missing out on some fluff, but some would cause serious bugs; E.g. Even though you never went on a ride with Mo, you still got invited by him weeks later on a ride to the poppy fields. Unsure if this fix causes issues with any savegames. If so, I'm sorry but had to be done. All my saves seem to work, so hopefully yours do too.- Buying a bed now correctly adds the money spent to the total money spent tracker. - ty jimmybob- The SpaCard image is now properly working in the Raul encounter. - ty Maxine_D- Can no longer go the pool, sauna or gym without owning the proper clothes. There are now way more outcomes to the condom check (You never saw this check, but had implications on the outcome of sex scenes), each dependent on your current state. E.g. are you healthy and clean?, people will likely comment on how nice you look; Are you completely intoxicated?, people will likely feed you more booze and take advantage of you, etc. Hope you like it as it took many hours to implement this. It should give a lot more (mainly textual) variety to the game when walking the streets or simply taking someone home.- Wandering through town has seen a significant update. You now have more 'control' over the outcome of many events, thus having more control over the 'development' of your character. Also several new events were added. Keep in mind that not all options will be available at any given time. Some will require certain stats to be at a certain level.- The flower job has been extended. It currently has a nice cliffhanger in place (sorry, had to kill features and temporarily close certain paths in order to be able to release V0.8). Kinda happy where it is now and happy it is 'done' to a certain extend.- Added additional videos for a lot of events (30% roughly) throughout the game, making the download size a lot bigger, but adding a lot more variety & eye candy.
