I know I can write grammatically correct sentences in English and knew some programming basics going in, but this is my first game and I have very little artistic skill. The characters are all drawn by me. Backgrounds are highly modified images of various existing mediums that have been repurposed and altered by me to give a consistent and cohesive feel without requiring much effort on my part. I don’t have the time resources necessary to hand draw all backgrounds. A few of the backgrounds have some AI elements to it, but I tried to minimize that as much as possible. I feel like I have created a piece of outsider art and am not quite sure how to feel about that. It has been a struggle from the beginning, but an enjoyable one. I was originally going to create this game in Twine and use a minimal amount of images and a lot of text, but… well… I hope I didn’t err too badly. Please take care of Eva.
