But from my experience making At the Mountains of Friendship, I think that anything I code personally will probably cause just as many UI problems in the end. At this point people who are fans of the game are already used to the quirks of the engine and switching to something else would probably create more problems than it would solve. Besides, I've already done lots of work to get things this functional already, development would have taken around twice as long if I started over in something else.
