About the game
You move to a sunny resort town with almost no money, a college to pay for and a lot to prove. With help from your Uncle Theodore and a stack of job offers on your phone, you try to land a position at the luxurious Stay Resort. Along the way you meet a cast of confident, flirty and complicated women (and a few men who are just as hard to read), and you decide who you want to be: a charming hedonist, a cold-headed rationalist or the guy who actually cares.
Your choices shape your stats and how people see you. Every call, every interview and every late-night conversation can open new paths.

I have been working on Shadows Tell About You entirely solo in my free time. Today I am very proud to release the first playable demo!
The game is a slice of life visual novel about a guy who takes a job at a luxury complex called The Stay Resort after his college plans crash and burn. You can expect a heavy focus on building relationships, romance, and uncovering corporate secrets.
I poured my heart into this project. I am a gamer myself and I wanted to create exactly the kind of game I would love to play. As a solo developer handling every aspect of the game, this project is incredibly personal to me. I have already learned so much just by finishing this build, and I am constantly pushing to improve my skills.
As a player I really value good animations. Right now there is one full animation included in this demo. I promise that if the project gets some support, I will definitely expand on this, add many more animations, and make them even better.

The map now shows who is where, with each person's contact picture, so you can see where Elena or Maya is before you go looking.The house has a week now- Everyone follows a weekly timetable: classes, work shifts, errands, naps, the couch, the garage. Elena goes out shopping twice a week, Sienna works evenings and graveyard shifts, and Maya has campus days.- Everyone showers a few times a week, one at a time, and the bathroom door says "Occupied" while they do.- Outfits follow what people are doing: Sienna's gas station uniform at work, her club dress going out, Maya in her school clothes on campus.- Some tasks only happen on certain days of the week.
