The game’s role should be to push you organically toward it, but the player agency must be kept as intact as possible.Once your character is asleep, they will be transported to a dreamy counterpart of the city, more colorful and twisted in a fun way. As the day city is divided into districts, their natural counterparts during the night will be the levels to play in.The idea here is to use the “dream” to provide an interesting playground for the levels and make these less grounded. These levels will take a lot of inspiration from old-school 3D platformers: short, packed, with a theme park feel. I absolutely want it to be a short break, refreshing, and not a sluggish part. I’m drawing a lot of inspiration from cartoony, lighthearted platformers like Banjo-Kazooie or A Hat in Time, so if you know these games, you might get what I’m trying to achieve. I think this childish, carefree style fits very well a game about diaper. This platformer approach will also be the perfect play area for a lot of fun moves and skills, like bouncing on diapers or stuff like that. As I know that some peoples, and I can respect that, don't seek this kind of gameplay, the game will also offer a sandbox mode, without the platformer aspect.
